Martingale Roulette System

The MArtingale Roulette System is one of the best know Roulette Systems around. The Martingale system has been around for a very long time, almost aslong as the game of Roulette itself. Martingales popularity isn't just because of it's age but also because it has been used as the basis for countless other Roulette Systems.

The Martingale system promises like all other Roulette Systems to win you money, and given enough time this system will do just that. A win using the Martingale system will win you one betting unit.

To start using the Martingale Roulette System you will set your betting unit. I recommend that you find the table that has the lowest table minimum and set your betting unit to the table minimum. You'll quickly see why I strong make this recomendation. The Martingale System works best on even money wagers so sticking with even, odd, red, black or Hi, Low is best.
Begin by placing a wager on your bet of choice and watch the results. If you win great, take your winnings and make another wager. If you lose however, you will need to doulbe your previous wager. Lets say the table minimum is $1. You lose your first wager so your second wager has to be $2. This continues until you win. Because you are doubling your previous wager on each lose you win back all your loses plus one unit.

Play Roulette! As you can imagine doubling your wager after each loss can lead to some fairly large wagers being placed. For example using are starting wager from before of $1 it doesn't take long until you are wagering a lot of money.

The table above illustrates how a $1 starting wager grows into a large wager in a few short spins but the fact that you can win back your investment and an extra unit cannot be ignored.

There are three things you will need to keep in mind when you are using the Martingale system. Locate a table with the lowest minimum bet to give yourself some breathing room should you hit a bad run. The second thing to look for when selecting a table is the table maximum. If you hit the table maximum when using the Martingale system you will be unable to recover with the next wager so finding a table that will have room for a series of losses is important The last thing to consider is your bankroll. Other than hitting the Table Maximum, running out of money during a lossing streak is disasterous, you will be unable to recover your losses quickly.

It is generally accepted that you should pick a table and have a bankroll that can accomidate a string of 8 losses. It is very unlikely that a wheel will hit a bad streak that goes beyond 8 consecutive spins. It is certainly possible that a bad streak could extend beyond 8 consecutive spins, but it is very unlikely.

Yelnick Mcgwawa (29/09/09 1:41 am)Think again. Look at the board that displays the previous spin results alongside of most roulette tables and you'll often see a red or black number coming up consecutively 10 or more times. I remember seeing a red number come up 17 times in a row.

KONSTANTINOS DANIELIDES (29/10/09 1:30 pm)yes indeed. I see a red or black number coming for 16 or 17 times and I lose all my money.

lucas (25/11/09 9:02 pm)so it dont work then

bob (10/01/10 3:20 pm)only a retard would gamble like this

Loner (20/02/10 6:23 am)It beats the odds, nobody says it guarantees it...

Stat Man (21/02/10 1:56 am)The doubling method will not work over a long period. I have seen 35 blacks in a row. Table limits will stop this system from working. The best system I have ever used is to play all 3 dozens at once and only increasing your bet enough after each loss to recover your losses on the 2 losing dozens and make a 1 unit profit. Keep doing this until you have made your target profit and then back out by stopping betting on each dozen after you have won. It goes like this:
1st bet. 1doz = 1 unit 2doz = 1 unit 3doz = 1 unit
Say number 16 is spun up then 1 and 3 doz lose and you collect 3 units on the 2nd doz. you are square.
2nd bet. 1doz = 2 units, 2doz = 1 unit, 3doz = 2units
Say number 13 is spun. You lose on 1doz and 3doz and collect 3 units on 2doz. You are minus 1 unit.
3rd bet. 1doz = 3units, 2doz = 1unit, 3doz = 3 units.
Say number 25 is spun. You lose on 1 an 2 doz and collect 9 units on 3doz. Your are now plus 2units since start.
etc, etc. Note that the amount to increase is not linear. Make up a table to tell you how much to increase by just enough after a loss on any one dozen to recover your loss and be in front by 1 unit. It is easy to do. Remember - after a win on any dozen your next bet on that dozen will return to 1 unit.

TICOY (13/06/10 6:14 am)Martingale is a big No for me..i have lost alot of money using this system..its better to study the odds and probabilities before you beside to invest in a system..

Sid (01/08/10 9:19 pm)Martingale has a 87-95 percent sucess rate if you do not wager on even bets.
